Emma Tinoco began dancing at the age of six and has trained extensively in ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, and various other styles. Throughout her training, Emma was a member of the SCA Dance Company and Training Level, where she had the opportunity to compete, perform, and work with renowned choreographers including Kevin Maher, Liz Imperio, and Brooke Lipton.

Emma is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Arts in Dance at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, continuing to expand her artistry as a performer, choreographer, and educator. She has performed in a variety of stage productions, including A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Nutcracker as the Spanish soloist, A Christmas Carol as a demi-soloist, and other holiday productions. She has also performed with Madison Contemporary and has choreographed for Stageworks Productions, including their production of The Nutcracker.

Emma began teaching at the age of 14 and has dedicated herself to creating a positive and inspiring environment for dancers of all ages.

Emma loves being a teacher and helping students grow into their full potential.

Olivia Tinoco

Olivia began her dance training at the age of four and continues through her senior year of high school. She has practiced at a Pre-Professional level, training in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, and all other forms of dance. She was also a member of the SCA Dance Company, competing at competitions around Wisconsin and the surrounding area.

She has won various scholarships at National Dance Conventions such as Hollywood Vibe. These opportunities have allowed her to experience the teachings of award-winning choreographers such as David Moore, Kenny Wormald, and Kent Boyd (to name a few).

Along with competitive dancing, she participated in many stage productions, including The Nutcracker and SCA’s annual holiday show.

Miss Olivia is excited to share her passion and knowledge of dance with her students.

Susan Tinoco

Susan is certified in Fitness & Nutrition and worked as a personal trainer for many years before diving into the dance world. After becoming a mother of four, she decided to follow through with her life-long dream of becoming a dancer.

Since 2010, Susan has taken classes in ballet and tap. Her love for the arts has always been with her and has given her the opportunity to participate in nationwide craft shows, as well as volunteer in various theatre productions throughout southern Wisconsin.

Ms. Susan is very excited to continue teaching and bring her love for the arts to Starlight Dance Edgerton.
